Enquiry forms are emailed directly to the property owners or managers who will contact you regarding price and availabilty. Within the Tourist Industry, all types of where to stay accommodation is currently undergoing substantial change in both how it is categorised and graded, and this is being embraced by the Otterburn Hospitality Association. Where to stay? By that we mean what type of accommodation are we looking for, is often more perplexing than at first thought. There is such a diversity of places to stay nowadays. To help you find what you are looking for, we have divided our accommodation into 32 different categories within this site. Overall Otterburn's places to stay can be divided into self-catering and serviced properties. Serviced places to stay (hotels, guest houses, bed breakfasts, and so on) come in many styles and sizes, offering something for everyone irrespective of the purpose for your Otterburn visit. Bed and Breakfasts and BandBs, are usually based in private homes with evening meals sometimes available. BBs may have fewer facilities than Guest Houses. Guest Houses, might be private homes or commercially rated premises that provide bed & breakfast, with evening meals sometimes available. Guest Houses often have more facilities than B and Bs. Hotels, by far and away the most searched for type of accommodation are normally licensed establishments providing breakfast and dinner together with a whole host of facilities depending on hotel size. Inns, are fully licensed establishments open to non-residents with facilities and services similar to those provided in hotels. Food and beverages are usually a major part of the operation. Wherever you choose to stay in the Otterburn area, you can expect a warm welcome, cooked breakfasts and a wealth of interesting places to visit right on the doorstep.
